In May 977, BMW launched the first generation 7 series, with the factory code E23. This is the first large luxury four door sedan produced by BMW. It has three models: 728, 730 and 733i. The 733i adopts advanced fuel injection system and is equipped with in-line six cylinder engine. Since 1980, the 7 series has been equipped with electric lock, electric window and colored glass, and the 735i is equipped with automatic cleaning and wiping function of headlights.
